My Voice · My Choice · My Lifelong Learning.
These words guide everything we do. We listen to every child, give them real choices in their learning and set them up to keep growing long after they leave us.
Nurture comes first.
Children learn best when they feel safe and valued. All our staff use trauma-informed approaches, such as PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy) to build strong, trusting relationships. Our therapy team and Thrive assessments help us spot what each child needs and give the right support straight away.
Learning is personal and practical.
Every pupil follows their own plan. Lessons are built around fun projects where learning is “hidden” in real tasks, so progress feels natural and rewarding. We review each plan often to keep the challenge just right.
Strong routines build strong skills.
Mornings start the same way every day: quick spelling, number facts and shared reading. This steady rhythm boosts confidence and locks in the basics that open doors later on.
The classroom has no walls.
Outdoor lessons, life-skills sessions, art and cultural trips are woven through the week. Pupils discover new interests, practise real world skills and see their place in the wider community.
High expectations lift self-belief.
We set goals that stretch but don’t overwhelm. Every success, big or small, is recognised quickly, helping children see how far they’ve come and what they can do next.
Family and community matter.
We work closely with parents, local groups and employers so children learn how their skills can help others and prepare for adult life.
Spaces designed for success.
Small classes, calm rooms and sensory areas make school feel safe and welcoming, allowing each child to focus, explore and grow.
