E-safety

At Felix House School, we encourage the use of technology to maximise our pupils’ learning, keep information current and relevant, and create an engaging and accessible learning environment.

We believe it is important for our pupils to have a knowledge of how to access technology and to understand their responsibilities and the potential dangers they may face online.

If you would like more information on how we comply with GDPR and protect our pupils’ privacy whilst they are online, please contact us.

If you do not wish for your child to access the internet or other technologies within the school, please present this in writing for the attention of our Head of School.

You can find our correspondence details on our contact page.

Pupils will be supported throughout the use of technology by our dedicated staff team at Felix House School. Any incidents of inappropriate searches or content will be recorded via our safeguarding protocol. Content restrictions are managed through our Google platform.

The school will exercise the right to monitor the use of the school’s computer systems. This includes access to web-sites, the interception of e-mail and the deletion of inappropriate materials where the school believes unauthorised use of its computer systems may be taking place, or the systems may be used for criminal purposes, or the storing of unauthorised or unlawful text, imagery or sound.
